King of Queens star Leah Remini has put her longtime Studio City, California, home on the market for the fourth time in about a year, this time with an asking price of $12.5 million. The actor bought the traditional stucco-walled mansion in 2003, two years after it was built, for $3.75 million. The property’s listing history shows Remini first put the 1.6-acre property on the market last September for just under $13 million. It was quickly placed on reserve status before being resold the following month. The author of The Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology attempted to offload the asset again in January this year before delisting it a month later. The newly re-listed house is currently on the market with a reduced price of about half a million.
Nestled behind double doors in a coveted private neighborhood, the master residence features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread across 10,100 square feet with transitional-style interiors. The main house opens to a double-height foyer, centered around a spiral staircase, leading to upstairs bedrooms and a moody home theater delineated by an antique popcorn machine Dictionary on listing photos.
A wood-burning fireplace warms the primary suite, which also boasts private balconies and two bathrooms, each with an adjoining closet. Additional interior highlights include a formal dining room set up to accommodate a dozen people, an airy office with wainscoting and a vaulted ceiling, and an eat-in breakfast nook in the kitchen illuminated by oversized glass doors that lead out to the backyard.
