Lionel Messi has outbid Kick streamer Adin Ross for his £8million Miami mansion – but the Argentinian football legend won’t live there

Kickstreamer Adin Ross has admitted  Lionel Messi outbid him when it came to buying a multi-million pound Miami villa.

Ross, 23, livestreams himself playing video games and has previously worked with LeBron James’ son Bronny. He was also co-owner of the  Glacier Boys, a fan-managed football franchise, along with former NFL player Richard Sherman, rapper Quavo, and  YouTube content creator Deestroying.

Now he claims he went head-to-head with Messi over the purchаse of a property. Unsurprisingly, he became the second highest-paid athlete in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I was able to get a great price for the house I wаnted,” Ross said on a recent stream. “I really wаnted a house in Miami. It’s impossible to find a house  I like, so now I have to build one myself.” And I was bid on by a  very famous, very wealthy professional athlete.

He initially kept the person’s nаme withheld. “I’d like to show you my real home,” the streamer continued. “But I can’t do that because it looks like it’s leaking. But maybe I can show you a picture. No, I won’t do that.” Maybe within a few months. I don’t know. But trutҺ be told, I got outbid.”

He later clarified: “It’s nothing about me being broke. I just couldn’t get there in time. I saw the house, but they were already in talks, and that was that, so…”

Then Ross relented. “Professional athletes are Messi,” he said. “I think it was Messi’s parents. I think it was his grandparents, but I don’t know who they are. Messi, wаnted a crib so they could use it whenever their grandchildren came to visit or play games. “I didn’t know either, but they figured it out.”

“That doesn’t make sense to me. There is also a movie theater and lots of nice things to see. That’s what I was told. It was Messi’s crib. I don’t understand how he could overcome Messi.

The Inter Miami captain has been house hunting in Miami since signing with the MLS club this summer. He and his family previously lived in three luxury condominiums in an area they already owned.

Messi and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo were later spotted viewing a house in Boca Raton off Intracoastal Waterway. They also looked at Delray Beach and Fort Lauderdale before settling for Bay Colony in the latter.

As reported by The Real Deal in September, they went for an eight-bedroom, 10,500 sqft estate in a gated community that sprawls across 0.4 acres. The property fronts onto 170ft of water and contains a plush swimming pool. A gym and spa also feature inside the pad.

There is also the choice of nine-and-a-half bathrooms, while the couple’s master bedroom spans 1,600 sqft. In its garage, there is space for three cars. The location is commutable for the World Cup winner, too, just five minutes from Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium home.
