Rick Ross, the rapper, record executive, and producer, has just added a ‘$5 billiоn’ private plane to his collection.

Ross stated that his recent acquisition was his first but would most likely not be his last.

The Grammy-nominated performer is a self-proclaimed vehicle collector and aficionado, and he spends a sizable portion of his $55 million net worth on wheels.

He recently held his own car show at his Atlanta house, displaying his full collection of over 100 vehicles.

Rick Ross’ new jet has enough space for 18 passengers.

It was originally intended to have 20 seats, but Ross had it altered to be more spacious.

In that regard, the jet has been entirely customized, with soft leather seats for the interior and a very noticeable livery for the exterior.

It’s extremely eye-catching, with a black and gold silhouette and a large ‘Rick Ross’ inscription on the fuselage.

When the rapper posted photographs of his latest purchаse on Instagram, several high-profile celebs chimed in.

Big Sean, TY Dolla Sign, and Busta Rhymes were among others to applaud Ross.

Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson and German fashion designer Philipp Plein both commented.

The plane in question is a Gulfstream G550 from 2012

It was purchased new by Wells Fargo, the bank, before being purchased by one of Rick Ross’ firms, called ‘Maybach Air,’ in 2023.

The 47-year-old is a big lover of the German carmaker Maybach, and his record company, Maybach Music Group, is named after it.

But we’re not sure what Rick Ross means when he says it’s a “$5 billiоn jet.”

A Gulfstream G550 costs between $15 million and $40 million.
