What’s inside the L.A. Ranch by Meghan Trainor just hit the market for $2.4 million ?

Meghan Trainor is cleaning the house once more. The Grammy-winning singer has opted to sell another one of her Los Angeles home holdings, just over two years after selling a Toluca Lake mansion to Modern Family actor Julie Bowen for $6 million. This time, it’s a beautiful single-story farmhouse in Valley Village, priced at a little under $2.4 million.

The single-story home was purchased by Trainor for $1.7 million in December 2016—shortly after it was completed and before she married Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara—and sits on less than a quarter-acre tract of property surrounded by security cameras. Inside, four bedrooms and four baths are split across around 3,400 square feet of open-concept living area, which has high ceilings, European wide-plan hardwood flooring, Lutron lighting, and surround sound throughout.

The white wood-shingled structure is highlighted by a gourmet kitchen accented with custom cabinetry, an eat-in island, stainless appliances, and an adjoining dining area, as well as a family room with a gas fireplace flanked by custom built-in shelving and accordion-style glass doors spilling out to a covered patio.

A formal living room and a luxurious primary bedroom with a walk-in closet are also included, as is a spa-inspired bath with twin vanities, a soaking tub, and a huge rainfall shower. According to Justin Paul Huchel of Carolwood Estates, the enclosed backyard also offers a huge grassy area with plenty of room for a pool.

Trainor apparently never made this property her primary abode despite owning it for over seven years. She presently resides in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino, where she and Sabara spent $6.6 million for a spectacular house in 2020.
