Ed Sheeran has given 445 clothing and accessories to charity, including his pants.

The products were donated to the East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) shop in Framlingham, Suffolk, where the singer grew up, in order to raise donations.

Many of the goods will be auctioned off on the charity’s eBay page, with bidding starting later this week.

According to Kevin Clements, EACH’s head of fundraising and media, “it’s an extraordinary gesture.”

The contribution contains a range of garments, Ipswich Town apparel, belts, backpacks, and caps, in addition to socks and boxers.

“Garments will not be washed or ironed – they will be sold as received,” read a statement from the charity, which also revealed that Sheeran wore almost half of the pants.

Each item sold will also come with a signed letter of authenticity.

“He has fans all over the world and these donations will undoubtedly cause a stir,” Mr. Clements added.

“It’s going to be exciting and fascinating to see how things pan out.”

For many years, Ed Sheeran has been a supporter of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. This year, EACH will auction off 186 things in three auctions, beginning on November 16th, November 26th, and December 3rd. Another 239 properties will be auctioned in a second auction early next year, with the remaining 20 set aside for new EACH store openings. Mr Clements stated that with a starting price of £9.99 for each item, “his generosity will raise thousands of pounds for our wonderful charity.”

The organization provides care and assistance to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex.

“We realize how fortunate we are.” It’s invaluable and helps raise awareness of the critical care we give to local children and families, Mr Clements added.

Sheeran previously donated his clothing to the charity in 2014, the same year he was appointed as an ambassador, raising £7,500.
