Julia Roberts: her San Francisco home sold for $11.3 million

The San Francisco residence of Julia Roberts was only sold two weeks after it was put up for sale. Mansion Global reports that at the end of October, a buyer completed his move into the 1912 residence for 11,25 million dollars (after 10,5 million euros), which is almost 500,000 less than the asking price (in relation to 465 000 euros). This approximately 650 square meter home in the Presidio Heights neighborhood was purchased by Julia Roberts in February 2020 for $8,3 million. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that when they were the owners of the edobe residence, the highly compensated actress and her husband, photographer Daniel Moder, carried out significant renovations.

Originally designed by architect Sylvain Schnaittacher, this five-story home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two kitchens. Every room is devoid of natural light, as is the case in the majority of French houses. The Pretty Woman star and her entourage kept period details like the salon’s curved walls, mouldures, and windows intact while also adding contemporary furniture and a fresh coat of paint to update the interior design.

The gorgeous kitchen’s lower placards are decorated with a subtle blue ocean mat, while the upper level has open étagères and green olive pâle placards. A cozy breakfast area is encircled by glass doors that open to the surrounding scenery. The main suite, which takes up the entire third floor, has a sitting area, a balcony, a dressing room, a bureau, a separate shower, and a foot-in-the-bathroom baignoire. Sur le dernier étage, l’habitation absout une salle de sport, un bar et une pièce supplémentaire. To complete the landscape, the couple built a terrace with a jacuzzi and added an olivier to the rear of the house.

Parents of three children, Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder, have a residence in Malibu.
