Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford lives in a nice property in Manchester, but The Sun reports that he is also building a five-bedroom mansion in Cheshire.

The England star, who just announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Lucia Loi, now lives in a magnificent home with trendy modern decorations, which he credits to his mother. The Burberry adman has shared various interior shots on social media, and with smooth cream carpets and a neutral color palette, it’s clear to say she has impeccable taste.

Marcus, 24, has a home gym to keep him healthy and a complete trophy case exhibiting his sports triumphs, so even when he’s not practicing with the Manchester United squad, football is never far from his thoughts.

Marcus’ house has a red brick front with double doors leading to a patio area where he has a basketball hoop. The photograph also exposes large windows on the top level, where an outstanding light fixture can be seen.

Marcus’ home gym is outfitted with white stone walls and framed ‘Rashford 39 jerseys. It features an exercise bike, weights, and other fitness equipment, and he told B/R Football that he brings the former up to his steam room for a 30-minute workout during pre-season.

Marcus posed for a photo in his hallway, where he has cleverly created a built-in glass trophy cabinet under the stairs. It contains football memorabilia that he has collected since his official first-team debut in 2016.

Grey walls, hardwood floors, and sleek white cabinets with matching worktops grace the kitchen, while cream stools are drawn up to the breakfast bar. Marcus said that he doesn’t spend much time in the kitchen and instead delegated cooking to his chef/nutritionist, despite lately sharing footage of himself attempting to prepare hash browns.

Marcus has a wine fridge built into the bottom cupboards where he stocks Coke for his pals, in addition to an American-style fridge.

The mustard cushions on a huge white velvet corner couch match the paintings on the walls. “It’s not bad,” he conceded of the decor. I moved into [the house] with my family, so my mother performed most of the design work.”
