From Rick Ross’s ‘Billionaire’ to LeBron’s Rolex Daytona with the best and most expensive watches

What are the similarities between LeBron James, Rick Ross, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? As they demonstrated in the wild this week, they all have great taste in wrist sweets.

The basketball legend, rapper, and actor were recently photographed wearing Rolex, Jacob & Co., and TAG Heuer wristwatches, respectively. However, the three gentlemen were not the only ones to showcase showy watches in the last seven days. Barry Keoghan, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Taika Waititi, and Lando Norris represented a variety of well-known watchmakers, including Audemars Piguet and Tudor.

Although each one is desirable in its own right, our favorite has to be the unique Richard Mille Norris wore at Wynn’s Formula 1 welcome party in Las Vegas, because it was made to appear like a McLaren race car for the wrist. Well done, sir.

The finest celeb watch flexes of the week are shown here.

Rising star Barry Keoghan may be new to Hollywood’s red carpets, but he’s already dressing and accessorizing like a leading man. The Irish actor wore a chic Givenchy outfit and a TAG Heuer Aquaracer to the premiere of his new movie Saltburn in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening. Unveiled earlier this year at Watches & Wonders, this two-tone riff on the Aquaracer features a 40 mm case made of rose gold and steel as well as a striking black dial.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore “Arnold Schwarzenegger”

Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. rocked a knockout Audemars Piguet from the early 2000s at a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. The limited-edition Royal Oak Offshore in question was designed in partnership with none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. The bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-governor collaborated with AP on quite a few models, but this particular chronograph is distinguished by a 48 mm rose-gold case that is dripping in diamonds. Knockout, indeed.

Taika Waititi Tudor Pelagos FXD

Filmmaker Taiki Waititi has already proven he is capable of rocking refined designerwear—he recently modeled for Hermès, in fact—but he likes to have fun with watches, too. Case in point: He paired a burgundy corduroy suit with a contrasting blue Tudor dive watch for the premiere of Next Goal Wins. Launched in 2021, the timepiece is known as the Pelagos FXD, with the FXD referring to the extra robust FiXeD strap bars of the case. It was designed for divers but clearly is also splashy enough for directors.

Rick Ross Jacob & Co. Billionaire III

Few watches could hold a candle head-to-toe Louis Vuitton, but Jacob & Co.’s Billionaire III is one of them. Rapper Rick Ross recently wore the $3 million gem-encrusted timepiece with a monogrammed LV suit to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The 18-carat white gold case is set with 75 emerald-cut white diamonds, the inner ring is set with 76 white diamonds, and the bridges are set with 57 more white baguette-cut diamonds. Is it rude to sаy it was our favorite part of the performance?

LeBron James Rolex Daytona “Eye of the Tiger”

LeBron James was spotted prowling the courts at a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday with the Rolex “Eye of the Tiger” Cosmograph Daytona on his wrist. Released in 2019, the zoomorphic take on the Daytona features a gold 40 mm case and a black tiger-print dial set with yellow gold and diamonds. The timepiece is also adorned with diamond hour markers, yellow-gold hands, and a bezel set with 36 trapeze-cut diamonds. This isn’t the first time the Lakers star has worn the wild timepiece, but it’s always worth calling out.

Dwayne Johnson on 'The Tonight Show'; Tag Heuer Carrera chronograph in black and goldDwayne “The Rock” Johnson went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday to talk about his return to WWE, but his punchy wrist candy kind of overshadowed the news. The retired wrestler was sporting a striking TAG Heuer Carrera with an 18-karat yellow-gold case and contrasting black dial. The chronograph is the horological equivalent of a powerbomb and can be yours for just $21,500.

Lando Norris Richard Mille RM 67-02 Extra FlatMany gents coordinate watches with outfits, but Lando Norris gets extra points for matching his timepiece to his car, too. The British-Belgian driver, who currently competing in Formula One with McLaren, has a custom Richard Mille RM 67-02 Extra Flat the same color as his F1 race car (the one pictured is as close to his design as we could find). Norris paired his special personalized edition with his matching race uniform for Wynn’s Formula 1 welcome party in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. Take note, fellas.
