The stunning property rented by ex-Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic during his spell in the northwest is for sale – for a whopping £4.8 million.
Green Meadows, a six-bedroom Chesire house, sits on an acre of land and has four levels as well as six en suites.
The opulent house also has a gym, bar, wine cellar, and games room, as well as four reception rooms, a covered patio, and a unique security system.
While at Manchester United from 2016 to 2018, Ibrahimovic reportedly spent £30,000 a month to rent the house, which is presently for sale on the Rightmove website.
When he left the Red Devils for the LA Galaxy, he moved out of the house.
Ibrahimovic made 53 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United in the two years he spent at Old Trafford, becoming a fans’ favorite in the process.
The Swede was signed by Jose Mourinho when his contract expired at Paris Saint-Germain. The former United boss said of the forward at the time: “Zlatan needs no introduction. The statistics speak for themselves. Ibra is one of the best strikers in the world.
“He has won the most important league championships in the world of football, now he has the opportunity to play in the best league in the world and I know he will grasp this opportunity and will work hard to help the team win titles.
“I am certain that his talent will delight fans at Old Trafford next season and that his experience will be invaluable in helping to develop the younger players in the squad.”
Ibrahimovic added: “I cannot wait to work with Jose Mourinho once again. He is a fantastic manager and I am ready for this new and exciting challenge.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my career so far and have some great memories. I am now ready to create more special memories in England.”
