Admire the 46 million pound luxury home of Adele and Rich Paul purchased from A-list Hollywood stars

Adele’s new house with husband Rich Paul is now being renovated, but it was formerly a gorgeous property owned by a Hollywood star.

The Rolling In The Deep singer bought the Beverly Hills property from Rocky star Sylvester Stallone and insisted on maintaining a Rocky bust that the actor had erected outdoors at the top of his pool. Originally advertised for $110 million (£88 million), the beautiful house was highlighted by Forbes in March 2021, with a series of photographs displaying the property’s combination of contemporary and Mediterranean decor.

The property was on the market throughout the spring, with the asking price decreasing to $85 million (£68 million) in August. The price was reduced by a further $5 million (£4 million) in October.

The estate is divided into two levels, with a big wraparound balcony on the upper level and a covered patio below with ornamental columns and chandelier lighting. Adele purchased the eight-bedroom property with a $ 37.7 million (£ 30.4 million) mortgage, and a construction permit for an “alteration/repair” was filed with the Los Angeles Department of Construction and Safety in June.

The permission calls for an “interior non-structural remodel to an existing SFD [single family dwelling].” There will be no additional floor space or changes to the building’s footprint. There will be no changes to the structure’s appearance.”

Construction workers have set up a porta cabin as their temporary base while completing the renovation works, which seem to have only just started. There seems to be just one part of Sylvester’s former home which has been left untouched, as a statue of his famous character Rocky punching the sky remаins at one end of the pool area.

It’s the same iconic pose of the actor at the top of the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Sylvester’s former property was full of Rambo and Rocky references when it went on the market, but it seems Adele wasn’t a fan.

The listing stated: “The timeless design of the living room is pretty much insаne; paintings on the wall have a fireplace, billiards, unique big graffiti art with the nаme of Rambo, comfy couches with a drаmаtic view from the outside. You may notice a lot of Rambo memorabilia on the wall in the area.

“In a few steps, the memorabilia room and office are excellent there’s a big and tall Rambo statue, a cabinet with Rambo figures, Trophies, different sculptures, and paintings. Watching the beauty of nature while swimming in an infinity pool with Rocky Balboa Sculpture will never miss out.

“The sprawling property is 18,587 square feet and offers 12 bathrooms on a staggering 3.5 acres.” It also has the advantages of seclusion and privacy, nestled at the end of a private driveway and flanked by rolling hills and trees.

An outdoor terrace offered a large swimming pool with a paved seating area providing ample space to relax. The home also has a gym, a professional theatre, a large chef’s kitchen, and even a cigar room.
