Kylian Mbappe’s contract offer from Saudi Arabia has shocked the globe, with his fellow athletes similarly taken aback by the massive amount.
As of now, all that stands between Mbappe and a 776 million US dollar payout for a year is a signature. Al Hilal has offered more than $300 million in transfer fees to Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG will accept the offer, despite their ultimatum that Mbappe sign a new contract or be sold this summer. To demonstrate their seriousness, they excluded the captain of the French national team from their preseason tour, forcing him to practise with the ‘unwanted’ group.
1. The White House
Not that it is up for sale, but should Mbappe so wish, he could walk up to the White House and ‘force’ Joe BiԀen to get new premises. The Architectural Digest reports that the estimated value of the official residence of the President of the United States is 400 million US dollars.
Heck, Mbappe would even remain with change to pay Ronaldo’s one-and-a-half-year salary.
2. Balmoral Castle
Or, if he doesn’t fаncy the White House, Mbappe might tempt the Royal family with an offer for what used to be the Queen’s residence.
CBS News reports that the value of the Balmoral Castle stands at 140 million dollars.
3. Vacation in space
Should Mbappe accept the deal and then at one point decide that the beaches of Miami the safari of Africa, or the arts of Bali are not tҺrilling tourist destinations, he might as well take his family on vacation in space.
A flight to the International Space Station costs 55 million dollars per seat for eight days, as Quartz reports. For that cost, Mbappe can take his father, mother, brother and adopted brother to space plus himself for an estimated cost of 275 million dollars.
Then use the change to buy the White House!
4. Planes
No, not a private jet. With that amount, Mbappe can buy a fleet of aeroplanes and establish his own airline. The Pilot Insititute reports that a commercial aeroplane costs between 80 million dollars to 200 million dollars.
Let’s go with a rough figure of 100 million for one; Mbappe can easily buy seven aeroplanes, one for each continent.
Mbappe Airways or Air Mbappe, if you may.
5. Private island
Mbappe might as well choose to establish his ‘own country’ by buying his own island. For example, according to Robb Report, the Blue Island in the Bahamas is a 707-acre Island that will fetch around 125 million dollars. The Island has its own runway.
So Kylian, the decision is yours, either the White House, the Balmoral Castle or the Blue Island. Or two of them.
Technically, think of what your wildest dream costs, multiply it by three, four even and chances are, Mbappe could finance it and remain with a lot of money to finance the transport budget of a third-world country.
