An exquisite residence in San Francisco that the renowned magnate simply cannot part ways with.

Perhaps it’s that “doom loop” in San Francisco that the CEO of Telsa and proprietor of X has been harping on about.

Musk has sold nearly all of his $100 million in real estate in an effort to devote his full attention to Mars colonization; however, it appears that he is unable to part with this one residence on Earth.

According to The New York Post, in June the SpaceX CEO listed his final estate in Hillsborough, California, near the San Francisco Bay Area, for an enormous $US37.5 million ($A58,84). However, the property is no longer for sale.

The decision was made with less than a week remaining until Musk, 50, effectively deployed Inspiration4, which is presently in orbit and marks SpaceX’s inaugural civilian space flight mission.

Musk also disclosed a few weeks prior that he was “semi-separated” from Grimes, his longtime companion of three years, following the publication of their separate biographies.

Musk explained, “Despite being semi-separated, we continue to love and see each other frequently and are on excellent terms.”

“My work at SpaceX and Tesla primarily requires me to be in Texas or travel internationally, whereas hers is primarily located in Los Angeles.”

Elon Musk removed the residence from the market on September 11, according to available records.

With an estimated net worth of $193 billiоn derived from his numerous ventures, the entrepreneur and business titan acquired the historic estate in 2017 for a staggering $23.4 million.

Musk, who referred to the 47-acre estate as “a special place,” stipulated that the purchaser must be the head of a large family.

“I have made the decision to sell my final remaining residence. Simply visit a sizable family that will be residing in the area. “It is a unique location,” the CEO of Tesla tweeted on June 14.

He confessed five days earlier to possessing the location with the intention of using it for events.

“With one exception in the Bay Area, which I rented out for events,” he replied. “Yes, I sold my houses.” “Working with Tesla to develop sustainable energy for the planet and SpaceX to ensure the future of consciousness by expanding life to other galaxies.” Additionally, AI rιsk mitigation via Neuralink and traffic correction via Boring.”

Musk disclosed in June when the residence was first listed for sale, that he would not be utilizing the services of any intermediaries and that prospective purchasers would be required to contact him directly.

Made up of nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, the home spans 16,000 square feet.

The listing previously stated: “Over 100-year-old mansion with unobstructed Bay views, pool, hiking trails, canyons & reservoir. Ballroom, banquet dining room, and preserved but completely updated professional kitchen. Detached 3-car garage, 8-car carport, and tremendous motor court parking.”

In May 2020, Musk promised that he would sell almost all his assets.

“I am selling almost all physical possessions. Will own no house,” Musk tweeted.

Musk had 12 other homes he offloaded, including Gene Wilder’s estate — which he sold to Wilder’s nephew last October.
