Wednesday, at a SAG-AFTRA event, actor Tom Holland, best known for his role as the web-headed wall-crawler in Marvel, was spotted donning a Rolex GMT-Master II watch that had earned him the moniker “the soda watch.” Discussing his Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room, he wore the item in conjunction with a forest green turtleneck polo, blue denim, and white sneakers. As the psychological thriller is set in the summer of 1979 and is inspired by a true crime, Holland’s attire was designed to mirror that of his character, who is attired in a more relaxed manner. Way Home features a water resistance of up to 330 feet and a power reserve of 70 hours. Although his ability to observe the movement is hindered, the watch’s bracelet compensates for this deficiency. It is crafted from Everose Rolesor, a combination of oyster steel and Everose gold, just like the case. Actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani wowed the audience at The Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California, earlier this month while donning an almost identical Rolex GMT Master “Root Bееr” timepiece. Furthermore, featuring a two-tone bezel, the early 1980s stainless steel model is also known as the “Eye of the Tiger,” a moniker that references its similarity to the semiprecious stone. In contrast to Holland, Nanjiani’s timepiece is no longer manufactured. However, the GMT-Master II that Mr. Zendaya wore this week is available for tҺeft.
