Once more, the Los Angeles residence that British musical star Harry Styles sold in 2019 has been transferred. According to public records, the contemporary residence situated atop the Sunset Strip in Hollywood Hills was sold to an unidentified purchaser on Thursday for $6.77 million.
The Don’t Worry Darling actress reportedly paid $6.9 million for the four-bedroom, six-bathroom home between 2016 and 2019, as reported by Zillow. Styles sold the property in 2019 for $6 million to a corporate entity associated with Singaporean billionaire tech entrepreneur Patrick Y. Grove, following renovations (as disclosed in an episode of Selling Sunset). This represented a $870,000 loss, according to Dirt.com. The property was subsequently listed for $7.95 million in October 2022, before a January 2023 price reduction to $7.245 million. A purchaser was identified for the property in late July, and the transaction was finalized last week. The purchaser could not be identified by ELLE DECOR.
Built-in 1946, the opulent four-bedroom mansion features an open floor plan and outdoor space on every floor, making it the ideal residence for a boy bander to host pool parties in. An expansive living and dining area with a fireplace and dissolving glass walls that lead to a terrace with panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles is accessible via the entryway. According to the listing, the main floor also includes a chef’s kitchen with an island, gray stone countertops, and white cabinetry.
The primary bedroom and bathroom, situated on the second floor, feature a balcony, dual vanities, an infinity-edge Jacuzzi, and a walk-in shower with views of the city. A bar and a kidney-shaped pool featuring an overflow Jacuzzi set against a bamboo wall comprise the backyard. A home theater, fitness center, and office are also included, all of which feature purple walls and furnishings.
Emma Hernan, an employee of the Oppenheim Group and a star of the popular Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, made the property available. During her appearance, she disclosed that Styles had abandoned hundreds of shoes. “Patrick is obviously sad to see it go, but he is also relieved that the incredible home has found new owners,” she tells ELLE DECOR, adding that the transaction was strategically timed. “With the current market, there are not a lot of luxury homes being sold, so I am of course very happy that we sold this amazing property at such a great price.”
Styles possesses numerous residences, including condominiums in New York City and properties in London’s pastoral Hampstead Heath. The Los Angeles residence is among them. Based on our estimations, he has accumulated a substantial portion of his total net worth of $120 million, or $62.5 million, in residential real estate.
