Own a luxury mansion in the L.A. complex where Jennifer Aniston filmed ‘Friends’ for $2.5 million

The Emmy Award-winning Los Angeles compound where Jennifer Aniston resided during the production of Friends is now for sale, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Since its inception in 1936, the renowned Laurel Canyon estate has been the abode of numerous notable Hollywood figures. It is worth noting that the hilltop estate was, to put it politely, the longtime residence of actor-producer Beach Dickerson and, later, author and celebrity matchmaker. After Bowers’s demise in 2019, Corbin Bernsen and Amanda Pays, a married couple engaged in the business of house flipping, acquired the property and initiated an extensive renovation. It is noteworthy that Beach bequeathed the Kew Drive residence to Bernsen, an individual who held his divine lineage.

Now It Can Be Yours for $2.5 Million. The city-view compound, which has been dubbed “The Crown Jewel,” comprises four chambers and four bathrooms in total. The property consists of several structures, including a main house, an A-Frame guest cottage, a pool house, and a bungalow tucked away on the hillside beneath the pool. Its total area is less than 6,000 square feet. “El Nido de Nestor” is the moniker given to the latter in honor of Nestor Almendros, a Spanish cinematographer who won an Academy Award.

“It has been dubbed the Crown Jewel of Laurel Canyon, but it retains the relaxed, hip atmosphere that attracts buyers to this neighborhood,” says Wendy Moore, a Compass agent, in a press release. “This property is distinguished by its understated charm.” “Indeed, it is a unique gem.”

Now It Can Be Yours for $2.5 Million. The design of the two-bedroom main house is quite eclectic and is nearly as eccentric as the Friends apartment itself. The living room and dining area feature glass walls, while the kitchen features black-and-white checkerboard flooring that has been recently updated. The swimming pool and sauna are enclosed by masonry and concrete terracing situated beyond the living room and dining area.

The pool house appears to be a fitness center based on the photographs, whereas the “El Nido de Nestor” bungalow, which has a single bed, is presently configured as an office or studio. The rustic wood-clad A-frame guest cottage features an additional room with a lofted bedroom and kitchenette.

Based on property records, the residence was last sold for $2 million in 2020. An approximate acquisition cost of $2.6 million is now required to obtain The Crown Jewel.
