Is the ‘London Boy’ singer planning to relocate to the United Kingdom? Taylor Swift is taking a break from her The Eras Tour, which will return in February of next year. She, on the other hand, will not waste her time. She intends to make Britain her second home and has already purchased a mansion.
Her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, recently acquired a home in a gated enclave in Kansas City to avoid the prying eyes of the paparazzi. And it seems like the two will spend a lot of time together at Kelce’s new property.
Taylor Swift, the billionaire, wants to make London her second home
She is reportedly purchasing a new property in North London after dating renowned Londoners such as Calvin Harris and Harry Styles. According to The Sun, Swift has acquired a large home that was once owned by a politician. A group of architects will rebuild the whole property, including the addition of a swimming pool and an orangery. The acquisition will set the billionaire back £10 million (about $12.5 million).
Her affection for the United Kingdom’s capital is well-documented, and insiders claimed she had been seeking a house in the city that met her requirements. “Her song ‘London Boy’ was a love letter to the city as much as it was to a bloke, and that is why so many areas are mentioned in it,” a person familiar with the matter told The Sun.
Swift had previously lived in the city while she was dating Joe Alwyn before they split up after six years together. Her new address will be shared with comedian Ricky Gervais, actress Keira Knightley, and musician Liam Gallagher. However, American Swifties need not despair. She’s not going to give up on America anytime soon.
Swift’s real estate portfolio in the nation includes eight homes totaling more than $150 million.
Swift intends to spend Christmas in America with Travis Kelce
Travis’s $6 million Kansas City house will not be idle for long. ‘Page Six’ reports that the couple would be “spending weeks at a time together” at the new property. Kelce may have a tough schedule with weekly games until February, but the two will work hard to make their relationship work anyway.
Swift is expected to attend today’s game versus the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium. Last week, she ended her run as the Chiefs’ fortunate charm when they fell to the Green Bay Packers despite her attendance. Will her participation in the Bills game be advantageous to the AFC West leaders?
