Taylor Swift spent time with her best friend Selena Gomez, actor Miles Teller, and his wife Keleigh Sperry on Tuesday night, even though she was about to be honored at Time Magazine’s Person of the Year event.

Despite being on the cover of the magazine’s Person of the Year edition, the 34-year-old hitmaker appears to have opted to forego the event to spend her birthday with her friends a day early.

As the three entered the upscale members-only club Zero Bond, she flawlessly mixed casual and stylish looks with a beautiful leather trench coat.

Taylor had arrived in New York, where she has a penthouse, earlier in the day after flying from Kanas City, Missouri.

She had previously been spending time with her NFL star boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Taylor’s apparent decision to forgo the Time gala was surprising, given that she was expected to fly back to New York City on Tuesday for the sole purpose of attending the event.

However, since the singer has always been devoted to her friends and members of her squad,’ she seems to have chosen an intimate evening with Gomez and their mates over the high-profile event.

The party, without Gomez, was initially seen coming out of a black luxury SUV as they approached the club.

Keleigh led the way, with Taylor closely following.

The Anti-Hero singer struck out in her eye-catching brown leather trench coat, which was a departure from the more conventional gabardine or cotton fabrics.

The capacious coat had epaulets and was too big for her slim frame.

She fastened the belt twist but also buttoned up to be warm on the cold evening. 

Her outfit below was mainly hidden, but Taylor looked to be wearing a black costume with a high neckline that peeked out from behind her coat. 

Miles’ 6ft1 stature outstripped Taylor’s 5ft11in height, yet she still appeared to tower over him owing to her massive black platform boots embellished with thick gold Cuban links.
