While Taylor Swift celebrates her 34th birthday, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs is focusing on football as he and his squad prepare for their game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Speculation over how the pair, both 34, would mark Swift’s birthday on Wednesday started when stories appeared that Kelce was arranging an elaborate birthday event for the “Anti-Hero” singer in New York City.

However, the NFL star will be in Kansas City for obligatory sessions on Wednesday, according to PEOPLE.

Sources close to Swift and Kelce have stressed their dedication to their respective jobs, and the pair celebrated her birthday early with pals in Kansas City on Sunday at a Christmas party.

Though the Chiefs were defeated by the Bills that day, the duo looked to be in high spirits as they joined the squad and pals for a celebration later that night at a Christmas pop-up bar in Kansas City.

Throughout the evening, the pair was seen smiling with partygoers and sharing passionate kisses in group shots.

“He is a gentleman,” a source told PEOPLE last month of the NFL star. “He is completely focused on his career.” He has a close connection with his family. He has an incredible enthusiasm and оutlооk on life.”

The NFL great has continued to demonstrate his dedication to assisting Kansas City in defending their Suρer Bowl championship.
