Gigi Hadid has sent a heartfelt birthday tribute to her pal Taylor Swift on social media, only weeks after sparking controversy on her Instagram account.

Swift turned 34 on Wednesday, and she celebrated with Blake Lively, Miles Teller, and his wife Keleigh at swanky New York bar The Box.

Hadid, together with model Lily Aldridge, celebrity stylist Ashley Avignone, and Swift’s childhood friend Abigail Anderson, uploaded a beautiful photo of herself and the singer on her Instagram Stories.

“Happy T-day!!” the 28-year-old captioned the image. “Love you long time sister.”

Although the cute photo will no doubt please the duo’s fans, another of Hadid’s recent Instagram Stories sparked uproar. The runway star was accused of spreading  libel,” after reposting a clip alleging that Israeli authorities harvested the organs of Palestinians without consent.

The movie, which used footage from a 2015 TV broadcast, contained interviews with an Israeli anatomist and the head of the Israeli Skin Bank and alleged that the Israeli Institute of Forensic Medicine stole organs from Palestinian detainees.

The runway model, along with her sister Bella Hadid, has lately sparked controversy on social media concerning the Israel-Hamas.

Hamas conducted a surprise strike on southern Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people at a music festival and in residential areas. Another 240 people were kidnapped.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Gaza, launching airstrikes. Before launching a ground, supplies of food, medicine, gasoline, and energy into the zone were halted.
