When she was 19 years old, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians actress began selling $29 Lip Kits. Within three years, she sold an estimated $360 million in Kylie Cosmetics goods (she held 100% ownership of the firm at the time). Then, in March 2019, Forbes reported that she had officially become a billionaire.
“I had no expectations. “I didn’t see the future,” Jenner, who surpassed Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook cofounder who amassed a ten-figure fortune at the age of 23, told the magazine at the time. “However, feels fantastic. “Thank you for the compliment.”
In January 2020, the entrepreneur sold 51 percent of Kylie Cosmetics to cosmetics behemoth Coty. Forbes withdrew her billionaire designation four months later, stating that she lied about business data and falsified tax filings to “look even richer.” She denied the “Inside Kylie Jenner’s Web of Lies” claim, writing at the time, “I’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period.” So you simply assumed they were fake? “Like, what exactly am I reading?”
Aside from the numbers, the reality star’s empire includes a distribution contract with Ulta Beauty, a skincare brand, and trademarks for potential hair and baby items. On top of that, she has over 178 million Instagram followers, 33 million on Twitter, and countless more on Snapchat and TikTоk.
“It’s the power of social media,” Jenner told Forbes in 2019, praising the fan-favorite platforms for her brand’s massive growth. “I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything.”

The personality purchased her first home for $2.6 million in March 2015 when she was 17. She sold the manse, located in the Calabasas neighborhood of Los Angeles, two years later for $3.15 million and went on to buy three homes in the Hidden Hills area. In October 2018, she and her then-boyfriend Travis Scott paid a combined $13.45 million for a Beverly Hills mansion. A year and a half later, she dropped $36.5 million on a mega-mansion in L.A.’s Holmby Hills neighborhood.
