Dr. Christmas revealed his holiday styling of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s home.

Bob Pranga, aka Dr. Christmas, told PEOPLE about his 40 years of helping celebrities decorate for the holidays. The 61-year-old designer found decorating the “Crazy in Love” collaborators’ home with their “Christmas in Africa” theme “fascinating”.

“Three days before Christmas, her assistant called to say they wanted to spend Christmas in Malibu,” Pranga said.

“It was a fascinating thing to me because I went out there and it was like a movie set,” Pranga. “All these people were hired to make this house perfect before they got there for Christmas Eve.”

He said he and his crew had a tight deadline to make their home a “Christmas in Africa” theme with “beautiful colors and prints.” He said the crew had “less than 24 hours to prepare her home.” 

“Beyoncé is lovely. She’s chill, said Pranga. “People are always looking for those wonderful or horrible celebrity stories.” 

He simply added, “But I get to see these people as people at home.”

The “Drunk in Love” singer attended a Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé release party in Brazil on Thursday before Christmas.

At the Salvador, Bahia, fan event screening of “Club Renaissance,” she spoke from a convention center stage and performed a tour ritual.

The Grammy winner did the silent challenge for fans. In the fans’ tape, when she sang “look around, everybody on mute” from “Energy,” the audience was too thrilled to be quiet.

The 4 artist held two more premieres in Los Angeles and London for the film, which chronicles her unprecedented 2023 globe tour and its behind-the-scenes.
