A source told Us Weekly that Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s friendship has grown better since they spent Christmas together.

“Kylie and Timothée are getting along great,” a source says, adding that the two have been “spending more time together since they both have some free time during the holiday season.”

A source says that the 26-year-old Kardashians star is also spending more time with her family with Chalamet, 28. “Kylie loves that he gets along with her family,” a source tells Us. “Their approval means the world to her.”

The person also says that Chalamet “always makes her smile and they have a very special connection.”

The first time Jenner and Chalamet were paired was in April. That time, a source told Us that Jenner was “enjoying getting to know” the star and was “open to seeing where things go.”

After two months, the founder of Kylie Cosmetics was seen in public with Chalamet for the first time on a day date in Los Angeles. In June, a source told Us that the Wonka star had already met some of Jenner’s family, even though the couple was still very new to each other.

“They like him and think he’s different from anyone Kylie has dated before,” a source close to Jenner said of her family members’ reactions to her new boyfriend. “He’s funny, and making her smile is the most important thing to them.” They’re thrilled to see how happy she is and are okay with her dating.

A lot of attention was paid to Jenner and Chalamet in September, when they were seen making out at Beyoncé’s birthday show in L.A. The two were seen together at both the U.S. Open and Paris Fashion Week in the same month. Within the following months, Jenner and Chalamet’s romance has “become fairly serious,” a source told Us in December. They haven’t said anything about their relationship in public, but Jenner went to the December 10 premiere of Chalamet’s Wonka without making a fuss. A source told Us of the event, “She’s one of his biggest fans and was so glad she and Kris [Jenner] could be there.”
