Not only prioritizing Ohsimen, Chelsea is also targeting the young striker who is stirring up the Premier League

Chelsea has liked Brighton kid Evan Ferguson for a long time.

The 19-year-old forward just signed a deal that keeps him at Brighton until 2029, and he could fetch more than £100 million.

The Seagulls are not pushed to sell, and they don’t want to lose another star player to Chelsea. Last summer, they got Chelsea to pay £115 million for Moises Caicedo.

People think that Brighton’s unwillingness to lose another star player to Chelsea will make it hard for them to make a deal for Ferguson in the future.

Alan Shearer called Ferguson a “very special talent” who “could be a superstar” last year. Ferguson has scored six goals in 24 games for Brighton this season.

Ferguson is a good fit for Chelsea’s new youth-first approach to the transfer market, and they wouldn’t have to pay a lot of money to get a great scorer.

Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen might want more than £200,000 a week, but Ferguson is expected to want about half that amount.

Chelsea has already been to Brighton and bought a boss and several players. The Seagulls will not let Chelsea get another valuable player. The Blues paid a record-breaking £63 million for left-back Marc Cucurella, £25 million for goalie Robert Sanchez, and £21.5 million for coach Graham Potter.

Chelsea also bought sports director Paul Winstanley, spy Kyle Macaulay, and head of goalkeeping Ben Roberts from Brighton. They paid the South Coast club well over £200 million over three transfer windows.
