Regarding the reversal of the results of his WWE TLC title fight against John Cena so that he would win the title: “That was a different conversation.” I was losing that match till that day. Things shifted.

Regarding the change’s cause: “Cena played a significant role.” Cena was largely responsible for the events of that day. I thought, “This is someone I can work with on business.” John needed a believable antagonist, and this is someone he could go around. Any good hero needs a nemesis they can relate to. He observed that many disliked me as well. People detested me. I stood out from everyone else in the room. Long hair, short hair, extremely tan, tattoos. He realized he could make a good use of me because I was a unique combination.
