Nelly showered his wife Ashanti with love over the weekend with the help of family and friends.

The couple, who married secretly and are expecting their first baby together, enjoyed a surprise baby shower over the weekend with Nelly orchestrating the whole thing. 

Video from publicist Juliette Harris shows the couple arriving at the Dolce and Gabbana Baby Boutique in New York for some shopping.

Instead they were greeted by their guests holding cell phones ready to capture the moment the minute they stepped out of the elevator as Ashanti gasped in disbelief.

‘Nelly threw a surprise baby shower for Ashanti! She was so surprised and looked incredible!’ the publicist wrote next to a video of the moment of surprise on social media.
